Coronation Street SPOILERS: Controlling Geoff gets Yasmeen away from Weatherfield

Geoff has been cruelling manipulating Yasmeen for months

Geoff steps up his manipulation when he manages to get Yasmeen away from Weatherfield in next week’s Coronation Street.

In upcoming scenes Yasmeen begs Geoff to come with her to Vegas, desperate for them to have a nice time away together.

But Geoff ignores Yasmeen and leaves the house without bothering to reply to her leaving her upset.

He eventually returns home where he finds Yasmeen ready with their bags packed.

She’s hopeful that they can still make their flight but Geoff lays into her for doing his packing and accuses her of being controlling.

Eventually he agrees to go to Vegas and he loads the bags in the taxi as Yasmeen and her granddaughter Alya hug goodbye.

Viewers know that Yasmeen is a victim of Geoff’s coercive control.

For months, fans have seen Geoff’s vile attempts to manipulate Yasmeen which have included selling her precious belongings, ripping up a photo of her deceased son Kal and setting up cameras around her home.

When Yasmeen tried to stand up to him about it and told him to take the cameras down, he moved out, insisting she didn’t care about him at all.

But he decided to leave one camera behind so he could spy on her.

Eventually, after convincing her he could have cancer and made her feel guilty, Geoff moved back in.

Recently, Geoff was set on becoming a partner in Speed Daal – a restaurant which was owned by Yasmeen’s grandchildren Alya and Zeedan.

Since worming his way into the business, Geoff has tried to take over Speed Daal, including scrapping the no alcohol policy.

Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
