Coronation Street: Roy Cropper to make comeback this Christmas?

Will Nina get a surprise visit from Uncle Roy for the holidays?

| Updated:

Coronation Street viewers were devastated when long-time character Roy Cropper packed his bags and left Weatherfield for a new life in South America last month.

Roy has been on the ITV soap for over 25 years.

But could it be that cafe owner Roy’s stay in South America will be short-lived and he’ll be making a surprise return to the Street this Christmas?

According to The Sun, actor David Neilson, who plays Roy, has been spotted back on the set of the ITV soap in Manchester.

Is it possible that David has just been having a Christmas catch-up with his former co-stars?

Or is he planning to put on Roy’s apron and comfortable cardigan and step back behind the counter at Roy’s Rolls?

Natasha’s young son Sam is devastated after her death.

Roy was overcome with guilt and decided he must leave Weatherfield to repent his sins and find peace again.
