Coronation Street viewers have cheered after Gina Seddon finally got her comeuppance.
The factory worker’s scheme to bag her sister Sally Metcalfe’s husband Tim was finally exposed in an explosive Christmas Day episode – and she was left homeless.
She had sickened fans by getting Tim drunk before convincing him they had slept together.
But tonight she revealed they had simply slept next to one another because she wanted to test the waters to see if he had feelings for her.
And when Sophie exposed her secret meetings with Duncan, it was too much for taxi driver Tim who realised he had been duped.

Tim took charge and threw Gina out into the rainy night alone without anywhere to go.
She begged to stay and told the rest of the family she had nowhere else to go but Sophie just slammed the door in her face.
And viewers loved every moment of her getting her comeuppance saying it was long awaited.
They took to Twitter to cheer about Gina’s treatment after all of her dastardly deeds.

And fortunately Sally phoned later in the evening and Tim was able to tell her everything.
Revealing everything Gina had done, Tim said he had never stopped loving Sally and he vowed to get her out of prison no matter what it takes.
