Coronation Street fans want ‘Incredible Sulk’ Seb to be axed

He needs to buck his ideas up if he doesn't want more fans turning on him

| Updated:

Coronation Street fans have had enough of Seb Franklin.

The builder has given viewers headaches with his sulking and bad decisions lately and they want him to either cheer up or leave Weatherfield.

They have even given him the nickname ‘The Incredible Sulk’.

Recent weeks have seen Seb refuse to acknowledge the existence of his mother Abi despite her going to prison for a crime he committed.

He has moaned endlessly about his job, despite Gary Windass giving him his job back at the same pay as before above the other builders.

Seb also tried to cheat on Gary’s sister Faye with his fiancee Sarah when he walked in on her in the bath convinced she was seducing him.

He later fought with Gary over it and ended up sacked again and in a miserable state.

Fans have had enough of his Kevin the Teenager style petulance and want him gone after hearing the news he will be at the centre of another big storyline involving modern day slavery.

One said: “The actress playing Seb’s ‘love interest’ is beautiful and far too good for that whining weasel.

“If Seb and (somehow) Gary are killed off in this storyline I certainly won’t complain.”

A second said: “It seems like the focus will be on Seb playing hero instead of the girl and the other victims.

“I feel the main focus will be the incredible sulk’s feeling/reaction and the actual victim will play a secondary role.”

A third said: “Yay more gritting teeth / constipated sulky the world is against me Seb to look forward to.”

A fourth said: “I think Seb needs to go on a holiday. Maybe join Jason in Thailand, or something?!”
