Craig Tinker’s behaviour left Coronation Street fans scratching their heads last night, when he paid good money to visit the local barbers – even though he didn’t have a hair on his chiny-chin-chin.
On Wednesday night (May 22), Weatherfield’s likeable policeman arrived at David Platt and Nick Tilsley‘s salon asking for a shave.

Chirpy Craig told David he had an appointment because he “wanted to try a wet shave”.
Despite David trying to fob him off because, quite frankly, he had better things to do, Craig insisted: “I could really do with a shave and maybe some cologne.”
David was forced to relent and allow Natalie to do the shave – failing to keep an appointment to meet Shona so he could keep an eye on Natalie’s work.

But viewers were quick to point out that Craig’s face was as clean of hair as a baby’s bum.
One fan joked: “I’ve got more hair on my upper lip than Craig has on his entire face #Corrie.”
Another added: “Craig wanting a wet shave when there isn’t an ounce of stubble on him! #CoronationStreet.”
A third typed: “A wet shave? Don’t you need some beard first Craig?”

“I’m worried about where they’re going to shave Craig,” said another, “as he’s as smooth as a baby’s wotsit”.
One incredulous fan thought Craig’s “bum cheeks” needed a shave rather than his face, while another wrote: “What is Craig shaving? I grow more hair on my face in an hour than he does in a whole year #Corrie.”
Of course, it seems that the copper may actually have wanted to spend some time with David’s assistant rather than actually needing a shave.
However, sadly for Craig, Natalie only had eyes for David and she kissed him later in the episode – before a shocked David pushed her away.
Spoilers tell us that Shona will soon call off her engagement with David after Natalie continues to come between them.
The storyline will air in a series of explosive episodes next week, that are set to run alongside the Britain’s Got Talent live finals.
