How is the Queen’s health?

The Queen’s health has been subject of much speculation after she was forced to take a break from royal duties last month.

She then missed the Remembrance Sunday service on Sunday November 14 with a sprained back. The Palace released a statement saying:

“The Queen, having sprained her back, has decided this morning with great regret that she will not be able to attend today’s Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph.

“Her Majesty is disappointed that she will miss the service.

“As in previous years, a wreath will be laid on Her Majesty’s behalf by The Prince of Wales.”

Piers Morgan on the Queen

Piers Morgan is among those who believe the Palace are failing to disclose information about her health.

Alongside a news article last Sunday Piers wrote on social media: “There’s something we’re not being told about the Queen’s health, it’s clearly a more serious situation than the Palace is saying.”

When asked about the health of his mother, Prince Charles said:

“She’s alright, thank you very much. Once you get to 95, it’s not quite as easy as it used to be.”

He then jokingly added: “It’s bad enough at 73.”

The Queen has conducted an official engagement in the last week when she received General Sir Nick Carter for an Audience at Windsor Castle upon the relinquishment of his appointment as Chief of the Defence Staff.
