The latest Princess Eugenie baby name odds are in and they suggest she will pay tribute to her grandfather Prince Philip when it comes to choosing her son’s name.
At the ripe old age of 99, Prince Philip is the oldest member of the royal family.
After he was born yesterday (February 9), Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s baby is the youngest.
But now it seems Eugenie could be about to create a unique bond between the pair.

Philip is the hot favourite name for Princess Eugenie’s new arrival.
Betfair have the name at 4/1 today (February 10), after seeing the odds slashed from 25/1 overnight.

Spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “We expected Princess Eugenie and Jack to be traditional, but in a shock move, royal punters are backing them to name their new bouncing baby boy after his great-grandfather.
“Philip was 25/1 but is now 4/1 favourite having been slashed overnight.”
What other names are Brits betting on?
Other names thought to be in the frame include Arthur and Godfrey at 5/1, Henry at 11/2, Thomas at 8/1 and Victor at 9/1.
The name George – after the baby’s cousin Prince George – is at 12/1.
Albert, Edward, Charles, Edmund, Jack, Frederick, Frances, James and William are also on the list.

If you fancy a bet on Eugenie naming the new baby after his grandfather Prince Andrew, Betfair will give you odds of 66/1.
Boris – after the Prime Minister – is a 200/1 rank outsider.
We expected Princess Eugenie and Jack to be traditional, but in a shock move, royal punters are backing them to name their new bouncing baby boy after his great-grandfather.
Betfair added: “Previous favourite Arthur has drifted to 5/1 to take its place alongside Godfrey.
“There are a number of other male royals who he could be named after, including his great uncle Edward at 14/1, cousin William at 40/1 and grandfather Andrew at 66/1.”

Princess Eugenie shared the news of her new arrival on her Instagram page last night.
She shared a cute black-and-white picture of the baby’s hand alongside those of his parents.
The royal family’s official Instagram account revealed the tot was born at London’s Portland Hospital.
He weighed 8lb 1oz.
The post also revealed: “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
