Last month we reported that Pippa Middleton had come up with a strict rule that meant that guests attending her wedding to James Matthews could only bring a plus one if they were married or at least engaged to them.
This meant that Meghan Markle – Prince Harry’s gorgeous plaything – was banned from the big day.
But now it turns out all’s well that ends well and dear Megs will be able to make it to the ball after all.
Yes, the star of US drama Suits has been invited to the reception at St. Mark’s church on May 20 – but, apparently, she is still not welcome at the ceremony.
While being invited to the later part of the day might be still be seen as a bit of a snub, the fact she has been invited at all would suggest that she is more than just a fight of fancy to the ginger prince.
Which means, it might not actually be all that long before we see another royal wedding.
Which is handy, because aside from revealing over the weekend, that he hasn’t really actually dealt too well with his mother’s death, he is keen to start a family.
“Of course, I would love to have kids” he admitted to The Telegraph, explaining how being uncle to Prince William’s kids Prince George, three, and 23-month-old Princess Charlotte, and godfather to his mates’ children, had given him some great practice for dealing with children.
“Yeah, I’m a godfather to quite a few of my friends’ [kids] … actually only five or six.
“I’d like to think [I’m a good godfather]. But I think the key to that is to grow up, but also to be able to stay in touch with your childhood side. If that means going to someone’s house and sitting there and playing Play Station and kicking the ass of their son on or whatever it is, then I’ll try and do that. I’ve actually had a lot of practice for that.”
Whether he will start that family soon remains to be seen. But a source close to the royal family says he na dMegan are super serious.
“Despite the distance, the media attention and everything else, there’s a real ease to their relationship. It just works. They are deeply happy.”
Meanwhile a different snitch revealed: “They spend a lot of time watching movies at Harry’s and cooking new dishes. Meg is a great cook and sends Harry out to posh food shops. She has even added a few feminine touches such as scented candles and soft furnishings.”
Well, that sounds like Harry’s been well and truly trained!
