Real reason behind Prince Harry’s comments about ‘protecting’ Queen ‘revealed’

He's been accused of 'arrogance'

Recent comments from Prince Harry about “protecting” the Queen raised eyebrows across the world.

The Duke of Sussex revealed his delight at seeing his grandmother ahead of the Invictus Games a few a days ago.

However, his declaration of ensuring the Queen has “the right people around her” ruffled some royal commentators’ feathers.

One even claimed Prince Harry‘s words were an “insult” to his other relatives. They also blasted him as “arrogant”.

Another observer suggested what he said was “slightly bizarre”.

But now a tabloid has claimed to reveal the real reason for his unexpected statement.

That reason allegedly relates to another royal family member. But not his father Prince Charles or brother Prince William, as some media commentators speculated.

What did Prince Harry mean?

With some royal observers reacting by claiming Prince Harry may have been referring to his father, brother, Camilla, the Countess of Wessex or even the Queen’s doctors, the Mirror quotes sources as suggesting he may have actually been referring to an uncle.

There is a feeling this may be linked to Andrew who has grown quite close to his mother in recent months.

Apparently, Buckingham Palace aides reportedly believe Prince Harry was responding to Prince Andrew‘s appearance at his father’s memorial service.

‘Astonishing remark’ explained?

A source told the news outlet: “Those images of Prince Andrew escorting the Queen to Westminster Abbey may have upset Harry, which is now believed to be one of the reasons he made such an astonishing remark.

No one was expecting those sorts of comments.

“Harry is familiar with the Queen’s aides and there is no animosity at all. The Palace were aware he might do an interview, but no one was expecting those sorts of comments.”

The anonymous insider continued: “There is a feeling this may be linked to Andrew who has grown quite close to his mother in recent months.”

Andrew’s appearance came months after the Queen’s second son agreed a multi-million-pound settlement with Virginia Giuffre, a victim of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
