The Duke of Sussex is set to leave his wife Meghan and son Archie at home again as he travels to Rome next week.

Harry, who became a dad for the first time on May 6, will fly to Rome on May 24 to play in the Sentebale Polo Cup at the Roma Polo Club, Buckingham Palace said.

The polo match will raise money and awareness for Sentebale’s work supporting young people whose lives have been affected by HIV in southern Africa.

The match will see Harry play on the Sentebale St Regis team, captained by Sentebale Ambassador Nacho Figueras.

They will go up against a US Polo Assn team that will be captained by Malcolm Borwick.

This will be Harry’s second overseas trip following the birth of his son, Archie.

Last week, he visited the Netherlands on May 9 just days after his wife Meghan gave birth.

He was there to launch the one year countdown to the Invictus Games 2020.

During the trip, the new daddy enjoyed a bike ride in the Hague and paid tribute to his little boy in the cutest way.

He sported an Invictus Games jacket, which had “I am daddy” stitched onto it.

It came a day after baby Archie attended his first photocall on May 8 as proud parents Meghan and Harry showed him off to the world in front of cameras inside St George’s Hall at Windsor Castle.

Speaking about parenthood, Harry said: “It’s great. Parenting is amazing. It’s only been two days, three days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our very own bundle of joy.”

Meghan added: “It’s magical, pretty amazing. I mean I have the best two guys in the world. I’m really happy.”

Hours later, the couple announced their baby boy’s name alongside a photo of the royal tot meeting his great grandmother the Queen and Prince Philip.

At the weekend, Meghan celebrated her first Mother’s Day by sharing an adorable photo of Archie’s tiny feet to Instagram.

The post was captioned: “Paying tribute to all mothers today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honor and celebrate each and every one of you.
