After he pleaded with his daughter to send him a photograph of grandson Archie, Meghan Markle has decided that she’ll “never see her father Thomas again”.
The news that she has decided to cut all ties with Thomas comes after the latest in a long line of his “public betrayals”.
At the weekend, he accused Meghan and Prince Harry‘s PR people of “ghosting” him.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, he said: “I would like them to send me a picture of Archie so I can frame it and put it on my wall beside the one of Meghan.”
He added: “Isn’t that what any grandfather would want?”

He also took aim at the couple’s use of private jets, and the fact that he hasn’t met Harry.
He said: “Why couldn’t Prince Harry have got on a plane and flown to see me to ask for her hand? He obviously has no problem getting on private jets.”
Now sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex say the former actress has “no intention” of letting her father ever meet the tot.

A source told The Sun: “It’s a terribly sad situation but Meghan has made the very difficult decision that she doesn’t have an active relationship with her father any more.”
They added: “This was actually a decision she made some time ago and it is something she’s now coming to terms with.”
Revealing that it’s “unlikely” he will meet Archie, they concluded: “It’s obviously heart-breaking for her but she has to protect herself, her husband and her son.”
Meghan and Harry married in May 2018, welcoming Archie a year later.
This week, the young family are expected to make their first trip to Balmoral to visit the Queen on her Scottish estate.
