The Duke of Sussex has shared a heart-warming tribute to Meghan Markle on her first birthday since having baby Archie.
On their Instagram account, Prince Harry posted a snap of the Duchess to mark her 38th birthday and thanked his “amazing wife” for joining him on their “adventure” together.

The caption read, “Wishing HRH The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday” and included a note from Harry: “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure! – Love, H.”
Meghan, who is celebrating her first birthday as a mum, was pictured looking radiant in a sky blue dress as she beamed and looked past the camera.
Birthday wishes poured in from the Sussexes’ adoring fans.
In the comments, one said: “Happy birthday to this amazing woman, a woman dedicated to her work, an inspirational woman, relatable and down to earth. 37 was a ride we celebrated with you and its fruits will forever leave a mark on this world. We are excited for what 38 has to offer. We love you.”
Another wrote: “Happy Birthday, Meghan! You’re the brightest British duchess thus far. Keep doing good things for the world! You are so very loved and so very supported!”
A third joked: “Happy birthday duchess!!! I wanted to marry Harry but I’m glad he picked you.”
Someone else wrote: “Blessings on your birthday, gorgeous! Harry did great! You two are perfect for each other.”
“Happy birthday dear Meghan. What an inspiring modern role model you are,” said fifth, adding: “Keep doing the great work and making that difference together with Prince Harry by your side.”

It follows reports that Meghan is preparing to turn her hand to fiction writing, with plans to become a children’s author.
A source quoted in The Sun said: “Meghan is going to become a published author and is very excited about it. The plans are in the very early stages and won’t be formally announced for some time.”
It is believed that all profits would be donated to charity.
