A source says Meghan wants the world to see 'the real her'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly set to star in their very own reality series.

The ‘fly-on-the-wall’ show is apparently part of their new deal with Netflix.

Initially it was believed that the former senior royals would only serve as producers on Netflix content.

However, according to fresh reports, they shall star in a limited reality series examining their new philanthropic life.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to star in Netflix series?

And apparently Meghan is all for it. A source says that the former Suits actress is keen for the world to see ‘the real her’.

But it is currently being billed as a ‘docuseries’ rather than a reality series in the same vein of the likes of the Kardashians or Real Housewives.

A source told The Sun: “Much of the docuseries will be about their philanthropy rather than what they get up to behind closed doors.

“But it will still be a fascinating insight and Meghan hopes viewers will get to see the real her.”

The source also said that Netflix is banking on this series as being a real pull for viewers.

They added: “They may have had all these lofty ideas about producing epics highlighting environmental causes and the poverty gap, but Netflix obviously want their pound of flesh.”

How has Piers Morgan reacted?

Piers Morgan is the first major British figure to mock the alleged reality series.

Ranting on Good Morning Britain, he labelled Harry a ‘dummy’ and called for an ‘intervention’ to help the prince.

Piers said: “At what point does the penny drop that she came over here, took our prince and now Mrs Privacy is making a 150 million (dollars) fly on the wall documentary where every part of their lives is going to be filmed.”

And Susanna Reid, who typically defends Harry and Meghan, finally agreed with her outspoken co-host.

Susanna said: “I am really private and I think if you are going to complain about intrusion into your privacy then having a fly on the wall series on your private life is not the message you should be sending.”

Later on in the show, Piers encouraged Harry to listen to President Donald Trump.

The President wished Harry ‘luck’ last week after the prince and Meghan starred in a video urging Americans to vote.

Piers continued: “Harry, listen to Donald! You need good luck – get out of there! We should launch an intervention, let’s send in the SAS, get him out of there!”
