The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s latest Instagram post has sparked a debate among their fans.

On Monday, Meghan and Harry shared an inspirational quote by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, which urged fans to “do your little bit of good where you are”.

The full quote read: “Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”

The post was captioned: “An inspiring quote for the day – wishing you a wonderful week ahead!

“The Archbishop is an anti-apartheid and human rights activist, who was honoured with the Nobel Peace Prize for his continued efforts to champion equality for all.”

Many fans loved the message but others told the royal couple to ‘practice what they preach’.

The couple were recently criticised for taking four private jet journeys despite encouraging others to look after the environment.

One person commented on the post: “I am disappointed in the private jets. #doasyousay.”

Another wrote: “Why don’t you take your own advice! Royal or influencers? Commercial or private? Private money or tax payers? Can’t have your cake and eat it!!!”

A third added: “Your little bit of good might be flying on commercial rather than always private… remember that footprint you both talk about.”

Others fiercely defended the couple.

One said: “Here come the trolls. Remember to ignore them and NOT TO ENGAGE. Immediately block and move on. Don’t respond at all.”
