With the imminent arrival of a new royal baby, we’ve been dying to know what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have planned.
And now a new interview has revealed details of the expectant couple’s famous Godparents: George and Amal Clooney!
Ocean’s Eight’s George’s cousin, Ben Breslin, spoke to the Mail Online, about the A-lister’s close friendship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Ben reportedly said: “He’d make a wonderful godfather, he’d make a wonderful just about anything – he’s a good guy.”
He also praised George’s human-rights lawyer wife, saying: “Amal is beautiful and wonderful and a great addition to our family.
“We’ve loved her ever since we met her. He sure picked a winner with her.”
George, 57, and Amal, 40, have been close to the royal couple for a few years now, and attended their wedding in May.
And Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, then visited Lake Como where George has a house, to meet their one-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander.
Another family source told the Mail: “Amal and Meghan have been close for years, and Harry and George have become buddies because of that. They’re much closer than the headlines let on.”

The royal couple have been preparing for the arrival of their first born – due in the spring – by planning to move into a bigger home.
The couple currently reside in the two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace in London but plan to move to the 10-bedroom Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle next year.
It’s been reported that Meghan’s mum Doria will be moving in with them in the coming months so she can “share babysitting duties”.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, a royal insider said: “Doria will be staying with them for quite long periods.”
