Duchess of Cambridge makes surprise Princess Charlotte confession

She doesn't care if her older brother is the future king!

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has made a shock confession about her only daughter, Princess Charlotte.

Despite many believing that it’s Prince George who rules the roost, it’s actually the six-year-old princess who’s in charge, not the other way round!

What did the Duchess of Cambridge said about Princess Charlotte?

Prince George may be just eight years old, but he will one day become the King of England. But that doesn’t stop Princess Charlotte – if anyone is the boss at home, it’s her.

Kate confessed that this was the fact back in 2017.

During a chat with fellow mum, Samantha Burge, at an event for families of service personnel, Kate made the shock admission.

Speaking to reporters after the event, Samantha revealed what the Duchess of Cambridge had told her.

“She [Kate] said that Charlotte is growing up really fast. She is the one in charge.”

What did the Queen say about her great-grandaughter?

The Queen herself made the same admission back in 2019. Her Majesty was presenting a young girl with a signed Bible for a school religious education project at the time.

When the Queen asked the girl if she “looked after” her younger sister in school, the girl’s mother replied: “It’s the other way round.”

The Queen then admitted: “It’s like that with George and Charlotte.”

Princess Charlotte has shown off her strong personality in the past.

At the christening of her younger brother, Prince Louis, the young princess told reporters off, saying: “You’re not coming,” before the family headed to a tea party to celebrate.

The six-year-old also famously stuck her tongue out at crowds when on the Isle of Wight with Kate Middleton back in 2019.

What did Prince William say about Princess Charlotte?

Princess Charlotte turned six back in May. Her father, Prince William, admitted she was “growing up fast”.

When the future king was asked about Charlotte’s birthday celebrations, he said: “She had a lovely day thank you.”

He went on to say: “Last year it was her birthday in lockdown but this year we were able to have one other family over. They grow up very fast. It was great fun.”

Shortly after, Prince William joked: “If you ask her, she says she’s 16…Charlotte says, ‘I’m six now, I’ll do what I want.'”
