Lauren Goodger ‘unrecognisable’ as fans beg her to stop treatments

Sparking concern

Reality queen Lauren Goodger has sparked concern among fans after posting pictures on Instagram that make her look ‘unrecognisable’.

Alongside glamorous pals Chloe Ferry from Geordie Shore and model and businesswoman, Antonia Knowles, former TOWIE star Lauren, 32, pouted in a low-cut top while attending Marnie Simpson’s baby shower.

Fans were quick to notice Lauren’s new look and took to the social media site to express their worries, begging her to stop cosmetic treatments.

While Antonia’s snap showed the girls partying and celebrating, an image posted by Lauren two weeks ago alerted fans to her changing appearance.

Lauren, who has 760,000 followers on Instagram, captioned the image, “A wise woman once said ‘[Bleep] this [bleep]’ and lived happily ever after”.

But Lauren’s defiance – and new look – baffled many of her followers.

One said: “You are beautiful, you were before surgery. You can do whatever makes you happy but don’t change your image to the extent of being unrecognisable.

“Imperfections make us unique. You have the most beautiful eyes, a lovely figure, embrace what you’ve naturally been blessed with. No need to conform to fit in.”

Another took to the site to say, “Naturally beautiful but what are you doing to your lips!! Love yourself for you not your exterior.”

Under another picture, a fan replied: “Lauren I think you are naturally very beautiful. As a mum of kids your age please stop with the with the treatments. It looks too much now. Don’t end up looking freaky. Love you lots just my opinion ok xxxx.”

Earlier this year, Lauren admitted that she suffers from a form of mental illness.

“Yeah, I probably do (have body dysmorphia). I never feel happy, no matter what size I am.

“I can look at a picture and everyone tells me I look great, but I think I look revolting.”

Body dysmorphia is an anxiety disorder that causes a person to have a distorted view of how they look and to spend a lot of time worrying about their appearance. One in 100 women suffer from it in the UK.
