Made In Chelsea fave taking a break to protect ‘mental state’

The drama this series has got too much for them

He’s one of the most popular stars of Made In Chelsea, so it’s a bit of a blow to announce that Sam Thompson has quit the reality show.

The bequiffed one, who recently entertained a new TV audience on Celebrity Big Brother, has blamed his break-up from long-term love and co-star Tiff Watson on his decision to leave.

It seems it may have been – understandably – taking its toll on his mental well-being.

The excitable 25-year-old told The Sun Online: “I worry about myself on Made in Chelsea at the moment, I don’t know where I stand on it.

“To me MIC has given me everything I have, and I will never slate the show or the producers. I’m not a fighter, I don’t like getting involved in the drama.

“I just don’t think the structure suits me as a person, but then again I never say I’d quit.

“There are people at the top who are really, really understanding at all times and that is really important for a good working relationship.”

There is some good news, then – producers have left the door wide open for him to return when he’s feeling better about the bitter parting.

Made in Chelsea is currently on air under the guise of Made in Ibiza, as the cast decamped for the summer on the white isle.

Sam found himself in hot water after getting it on with Canadian Mimi while on a break from Tiff.

The pair were getting on swimmingly until Tiff arrived and balled him out for getting with someone in their social circle.

She’d had the decency to bed someone else far away in Croatia, and Barcelona. Niiice.
