Following a string of failed romances on Love Island, Malin has finally found love with Tom.

Announcing the happy news, Malin told The Sun that she was “shocked” to discover she’s pregnant.

“I am feeling quite shocked about being pregnant to be honest. It hasn’t sunk in yet,” she said. “My mum passed away in November and within the same year I will be bringing a new life into the world. I would like a girl.”

Malin was left devastated in November last year when her mum passed away after being diagnosed with cancer for the third time.

Breaking the news that her mum had passed away, Malin wrote on Instagram: “You didn’t deserve the pain you were in, cancer three times. It wasn’t fair on you. I watched you take your final breath. I stayed with you right until the very end and you looked so peaceful. I love you unconditionally.”

Malin said she’s “got a feeling” her unborn baby will be a little girl.

She said that her “soulmate” Tom is already a dad to two children from a previous relationship and called him a “good dad.”

Fans congratulated the couple on Twitter with one saying: “Omg!! Congratulations to you and your man.”

Another gushed: “Congratulations Malin! You’re gonna be an amazing mum!”

The soon-to-be mum rose to fame on the 2016 series of Love Island and became a favourite among fans.

But Malin did have a hard time on the show: she was left heartbroken when her ex Terry Walsh found love with Emma Jane Woodhams after Malin left the villa, despite hinting he would remain loyal to her.

Malin was involved in one of the show’s most iconic moments when she returned to the villa to confront Terry.

Meanwhile, the brand new series of Love Island starts tonight with a whole new cast looking for love.

The hopefuls include EastEnders’ Danny Dyer’s daughter Dani , doctor Alex George, personal trainer Adam Collard and model Hayley Hughes.
