Alongside a photo of the order of service, he wrote: “I love you with all my heart my beautiful angel.

“I’m absolutely heartbroken I can’t stop crying and I can feel your spirit in my soul RIP Sophie Hannah Gradon.”

Shortly before, Aaron shared a picture of Sophie and expressed his love for her.

He wrote: “Today is the day I say my good bye to my queen this is the hardest day of my life.

“I love you so much and just want to hold you tight and give you a big kiss. I miss you so so much, you will shine so bright up there my angel.

“Rest in peace beautiful see you on the other side.”

It was announced last month that Sophie had been found dead in Ponteland, Northumberland.

Her fellow Love Island co-stars were the first people to pay tribute, including Olivia Buckland, Alex Bowen, Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde.

Shortly after, the ITV2 show released a statement saying “the whole team is profoundly saddened” to hear about her death.

A representative for Love Island said: “The whole ITV2 and Love Island team are profoundly saddened to hear the news about Sophie, and our deepest sympathies and thoughts go to her family and friends.”

Her parents, Colin and Deborah Gradon, said in a statement to the Press Association: “It has been one week since we lost our precious daughter and we as a family are still coming to terms with our sudden loss.

Sophie’s journey in Love Island 2016 saw her couple up with both Tom Powell and Katie Salmon, making them the first same-sex pairing on the show.

She famously walked off Love Island after realising her feelings for Tom, who had been dumped earlier.
