Love Island’s Molly-Mae reportedly said kissing Tommy would make her ‘sick’

Alleged comments fuel doubts about her feelings towards boxer...

| Updated:

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have been tipped to win this year’s Love Island.

With the couple appearing so keen on each other, it’s hard to see anyone else scooping the £50,000 prize money.

However, according to a report, they haven’t always been so besotted… at least, Molly-Mae hasn’t.

It’s been claimed that the social-media influencer, 20, didn’t take to Tommy, also 20, when she first arrived in the villa, and told a fellow contestant that kissing the boxer would make her ‘sick’.

A source told The Sun Online: “Molly does seem to be besotted with Tommy. But that definitely wasn’t the case at first. In fact, it was quite the opposite.

“Soon after she arrived, she quietly told one of the other islanders that if Tommy, who liked her from the start, was to kiss her she would probably be sick.

“To go from there to a full-blown romance is a hell of a U-turn.”

Indeed, The Sun Online’s source went on to say that Molly-Mae’s alleged comments left the rest of the islanders questioning her motives.

And fans of the show have had serious doubts about her, too.

On Tuesday’s show, Tommy was seen making cute comments about the couple’s future together, telling Molly-Mae: “Just think of the nights where we’re back cuddling in bed.”

However, viewers seemed to think that Molly-Mae looked distinctly non-plussed by the prospect.

One said on Twitter: “Is it just me or did Molly-Mae look very unimpressed when she was sitting on the swing last night with Tommy and he was talking about there [sic] future?

“Makes me think it’s for the cash even more than ever now.”

Another scoffed: “Sorry but this looks really forced and painful. This is what focusing on 50k looks like when paired with someone you’re not remotely interested in.

“Molly-Mae and Tommy ain’t fooling anyone, not even themselves.”

However, a spokesperson for Molly-Mae said: “She has gone there to find love and we have no doubt Molly and Tommy are genuinely attracted to one another.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
