Love Island’s Elma Pazar admits she LIED about her age

It's all coming out now!

| Updated:

Love Island star Elma Pazar has admitted she lied about her age on the show.

A week after leaving the villa, the eyelash-technician from Essex has hinted that she told the fib in order to secure a place on the ITV show.

Speaking on the Love Island Morning After podcast with Kem Cetinay and Arielle Free, Elma admitted: “I lied about my age on Love Island. I tell everyone I’m 23. It’s a real issue.

“I’m 26, but now everyone knows it because they said they couldn’t lie for me.”

The average age of this year’s contestants is 24, with Molly, Amber and Tommy all being 20 years old.

But even taking into consideration Elma’s real age, she was from the oldest in the villa – that accolade goes to model Tom Walker, 29.

Elma was only on the show for a few days, hooking up with gym owner Anton Danyluk, 24, just before exiting the villa.

However, if the couple had wanted a bit of secret hanky-panky, they’d have had their work cut out, as Elma says they were being watched at all times.

After leaving the series, she told the Mirror online: “There’s no private area in the villa. There’s cameras everywhere – even in the toilet.”

Elma has also hinted that she could make a sensational return to the ITV show, along with fellow contestant Yewanda Biala.

Speaking to Raj Pander on BBC Radio 1’s The Reality Tea Podcast, she said: “When you sign the contract, it does say that you need to have free time up until 31 July or something.

“So who knows? Literally anything could happen. Get Yewande back in there!”

It sounds like Elma’s not too fussed either way, though.

She continued: “I’m just floating, me – I’m like a rubber dinghy! You can have me, you can pull me back in, you can throw me back out. It’s not a problem.”
