Love Island’s Danny Williams ‘calls police over death threats’

He said he gets abuse "daily"

Ex Love Island star Danny Williams has had to contact police over racist abuse from vile trolls.

The model, 21, said in an interview that he has been the target of nasty death threats since leaving the villa earlier this month.

Speaking on Fubar Radio, Danny said he receives threats “daily” and has even had people telling him they are going to kill him.

The Hull lad also explained that even his parents have been hounded since he left Love Island alongside girlfriend Jourdan Raine.

As reported by Daily Star, he said in the interview: “I’ve had death threats, racism, people threatening to come round to my house and hurt my family.

“As worse as you can imagine, I’ve had it all. And it’s still happening today. Daily.

“When it’s racist and it’s threats and you have to get the police involved, that’s next level. And it got to that extent.”

Speaking further, Danny said that when he goes to bed and checks his phone like everyone else does, he sees messages from people saying “they’re going to come and kill [him]” or calling him a “horrible sick [bleep].”

Elsewhere in the interview, Danny revealed some positive news about his relationship with Jourdan – confirming that the two are currently looking for properties together.

Danny had a somewhat tumultuous few weeks on Love Island.

When he first entered the villa he sparked a romance with Yewande Biala. But the pair’s coupling fizzled out and Danny moved on to Arabella Chi.

When Arabella was eventually kicked from the villa by her fellow islanders, Danny got close to Jourdan and the pair have since become boyfriend and girlfriend.

The couple are already Instagram official, with a number of snaps posted to Danny’s account showing them looking loved up together.

In one, Danny uploaded a string of pics of the two of them at a restaurant and joked to fans: “Swipe to see her getting sick and tired of my jokes already.”

Love Island concludes on ITV2 this Monday (July 29).
