Love Island viewers brand the show a ‘fix’ after Amy and Curtis are spotted holding hands

The couple split last week

Viewers have been left confused after Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard were seen holding hands on last night’s Love Island, despite their recent separation.

Curtis decided to end things with Amy last week, however, the pair walked out smiling and holding hands during the evening party.

They held on to each other as they made their entrance to the villa garden. Their intimate moment was easy to miss as it only flashed on screen for a second or so.

Fans were baffled by their show of affection, as Amy had voiced her fury at Curtis earlier in the episode.

She was upset after witnessing Curtis teaching Maura Higgins to dance in the villa.

Viewers were soon airing their thoughts about Curtis and Amy’s hand-holding on social media, with some branding the show a fix.

“Can’t just be me that saw Amy and Curtis holding hands running outside? Surely this show is a fix and does it for the cameras.

“Deffo want to see what happens between Maura and Curtis though. 👀😂,” tweeted one fan.

A second wrote: “What is happening with Love Island…. Amy and Curtis were holding hands when going to the party with Craig David #fix.”

A representative for Love Island told Ent Daily: “The show is not fixed.

Meanwhile, Maura has now confessed her feelings to single Curtis.

Pulling him for a chat during last night’s show, the model told him: “This might come as a bit of a shock… so obviously you were coupled up with Amy and when I came in here a lot of the girls asked me who would you go for it I came in earlier on and I said you.

“But I wouldn’t have done that because you were very strong and I wouldn’t want to get in the way of that.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
