Love Island in talks to cast axed Big Brother star Lotan Carter

The reality star has auditioned for the show

Auditions for this year’s Love Island are underway and it’s been revealed that axed Big Brother star Lotan Carter has been in talks to appear on the ITV dating show.

Model Lotan, who took part in BB in 2017 before being removed for ‘unacceptable behaviour’, has met with Love Island casters in the hope of appearing on the new series this summer.

A source told The Sun: “Lotan’s really up for it and he’s been training so he looks his best on camera.

“Producers seemed really interested but he’s worried his reality show past might work against him.

“And he’s looking for love. He wants to find The One and hopes that he can find someone to settle down with through the show.”

As well as modelling, 30-year-old Lotan previously worked for saucy dance crew the Dreamboys. He even appeared alongside Channing Tatum for the launch of Magic Mike Live last year.

According to reports, he has also insured his penis for £12 million! He apparently made the decision after a Dreamboys colleague had a near-miss when stripping.

Lotan was thrown out of Big Brother two years ago, after a drunken brawl broke out in the house.

He was pulled into the Diary Room and told by Big Brother: “Last night you threw your drink angrily at Isabelle, Chanelle and Hannah and then threw the empty bottle across the room.

“Later in the bedroom and then in the Diary Room, you used threatening language about a fellow housemate.”

“Lotan, Big Brother considers your behaviour to be completely unacceptable and has no option but to remove you from the house.”

A source revealed to Ent Daily that while Lotan has auditioned for the show, casting is still ongoing.

A spokesperson for Love Island told Ent Daily: “We wouldn’t comment on speculation about this year’s line up.”
