Love Island fans demand Maya Jama replaces Caroline Flack as host

Fans loved her on Aftersun last night

Love Island fans have called for Maya Jama to replace Caroline Flack as host.

The radio presenter appeared on the show’s spin-off Aftersun last night and seemed to win over viewers watching.

Maya was on the show to discuss the islanders’ last few days and give her opinions on the romances blossoming in the villa.

At one point, Maya called out islander Molly-Mae Hague’s “fake crying” during her date with Tommy Fury.

Maya said: “Was there a tear? Did we see a drop? I didn’t see a drop.”

And it seems viewers were loving Maya with many asking ITV to “swap” Caroline with her.

One person said on Twitter: “Dear @itv2. Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE swap Caroline Flack for Maya Jama as host of #LoveIsland because she’s perfect for it.

“She’s a confident & natural presenter, would bring the passion for the show and the couples, has the banter and is actually likeable, thanks.”

Another wrote: “Ah Maya would be a perfect replacement for Caroline, if only we could get rid of her.”

A third added: “Nah Maya is actually cackling because she knows Molly is fake. GIVE HER CAROLINE’S JOB IMMEDIATELY.”

Last week, Love Island confirmed TWO series will be airing next year.

Producers will be creating a winter series in South Africa, as well as the usual summer version in Europe.

In early 2020 Love Island will be back and it will be filmed in a brand new villa in South Africa.

Some viewers have called for Maya to host the winter Love Island.

One person said: “Maya Jama as the presenter for the winter Love Island please. K thanks.”

Another wrote: “If they don’t get Maya Jama to present the winter Love Island in South Africa then really what’s the point?”

A third tweeted: “Maya Jama has to present at least one series next year. Speaking straight facts.”
