He’s wooed her, then broken her heart, and left her in tears on more than one occasion but now it seems Michael Griffiths wants Amber Gill back.
After being dumped for Joanna Chimonides in the recoupling several weeks ago, Love Island‘s Amber has tried to pick herself up and move on – and new boy Greg O’Shea was a welcome distraction.

On Wednesday night (July 17), Amber was seen on a date with the newcomer who clearly liked what he saw.
However, back in the villa, Michael suddenly found he had a case of the green-eyed monster and told his fellow islanders that he’d had a change of heart.
Michael said: “Now Joanna has gone, it’s given me time to think about things, and I realise I do like Amber.
“I feel like I need to do myself a favour and let her know.”

But those watching from home were livid that Michael had done a U-turn, and slammed his motives.
Many believe Amber is too good for Michael, who has angered fans with the way he’s spoken to her, while others think Michael’s decision may be more to do with the upcoming final and the £50,000 prize money.
Viewers know that Joanna was asked to leave the villa after being voted the least popular islander and, when Michael chose not to follow her, his intentions were branded ‘snakey’.
It’s fair to say, he doesn’t have a lot of fans right now.
One Amber devotee tweeted: “So now Amber is moving on, Michael wants to confess his feelings? I think the [bleep] not mate.”
Another wrote: “The UK is praying that Amber rejects Michael tonight.”
Listing Greg’s pros, compared to Michael’s cons, a third added: “Don’t do it, Amber.”

Even reality star Jake Quickenden commented: “What a coincidence that Michael likes Amber again… Wanna get to the final much?”
This week, Amber’s mum Vanessa appeared on This Morning and said she doesn’t want her daughter to get back with Michael after the way he’s treated her.
She said: “I don’t think she’ll go back with him, I hope she doesn’t. Because of the whole way I think he’s played it.”
