Fans of Love Island think they have found proof that Maura Higgins’ romance with Curtis Pritchard is “fake”.
Unable to accept that the pair might be a genuine couple, some think the way they kiss is an indication their relationship is all a show.

The Irish beauty, 28, and her ballroom dancer beau, 23, were at the launch of her clothing line with fashion site Boohoo when they shared a peck and smiled for the cameras.
Both posted about the event on Instagram, with Curtis telling followers he is “so proud” of his “stunning” not-yet-girlfriend.
He captioned a snap of them: “Amazing night with @maurahiggins… I’m so proud for everything she has achieved. Isn’t she just stunning?”
On her Instagram, Maura wrote: “Thank you to my amazing @boohoo family for giving me the most amazing night for my Ambassador Launch, and to everyone who joined me… I love you all.”
But it appears some fans have called the authenticity of their smooching into question.
As reported by The Sun, one said, “Ummm sorry but I’ve never seen such a NON KISS ever! Hilarious, who are they trying to kid?” while another commented, “Usually when you kiss someone your lips actually make contact” and a third said, “That looks like he’s kissing his mum”.
Shortly after the Love Island final at the end of July, experts predicted that the lovebirds would be the first to split upon leaving the villa.
Their claims were based on the pair’s on-screen body language, with Maura reportedly moving away from Curtis slightly as they sat for a chat with host Caroline Flack, and later, tapping her foot as he put his arm around her.
But recent weeks have, of course, proved the naysayers wrong.
Islanders Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan decided to call time on their relationship earlier this month – and were quickly followed by Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, who is understood to have ditched the Geordie lass by text.
It was later suggested that Maura and Curtis had broken up too, but they quashed the rumours by appearing together at the pre-recorded Strictly Come Dancing launch, aired last Saturday (07.09.19).

Both looked glam and happy in a photo from the night shared on Maura’s Instagram.
The former grid girl glistened in a thigh-high dress, while Curtis wore a traditional black suit and open-collared white shirt.
His brother, professional dancer AJ Pritchard, is partnered with YouTuber Saffron Barker in the new series.
