As if this series of Love Island hasn’t been thrilling enough, it could be about to get a massive injection of hilarious Cockney joy.
Fans online are convinced actor Danny Dyer is about to appear on the ITV2 reality show, after he was reportedly spotted at the airport.
An Instagram account called LoveIslandReactions posted a fan photo apparently showing the EastEnders actor queuing with his baggage.
They wrote: “Danny Dyer has been reportedly seen at a airport, we hope he’s going into the villa!”
Fans lost their minds, commenting: “Can not wait for this, it’s about to go down”.
Another wrote: “We really need him to. It would be tv at its very best 😂😂”.
A third joked: “I’m gonna sue love island for emotional damages if he doesn’t go in! x”.
The 40-year-old is likely to be appearing in the villa to visit his daughter, Dani Dyer, who has been in this year’s show since day one.
It’s a moment viewers have been waiting for since the very first episode, as the ‘parent visit’ is a regular feature towards the end of the series.
Through the series fans have tweeted: “All I’m thinking is when are they bringing the parents into the villa coz I’ve been waiting all series for Danny Dyer to rock up to that gaff #LoveIsland”.
Another said: “If the producers don’t bring in the family I will be livid. All I’ve been wanting to see is Danny Dyer walk in #LoveIsland”.
Even TOWIE star, Ferne McCann is excited about the cameo, tweeting: “I’m watching tonight’s #LoveIsland & all I can think of is when is the ep where they send in their parents we all wanna see @MrDDyer right?”
Dani’s mum, Joanne Mas has hinted it could be hapening, recently telling This Morning: “Danny likes being mentioned on that show. Yes, he wants a cameo on that show. Yes, he would love it.”

Danny’s daughter Dani, 22, has been a show favourite from day one, thanks to her down-to-earth, sweet personality and adorable love story with Jack Fincham.
Viewers have gushed about the former barmaid, writing on social media: “Danny dyer must honestly be one of the most proudest dads on the planet at the moment. Dani has been nothing but honest and lovely. THAT is a role model for females nowadays.”
Another wrote: “Remember when we found out Danny Dyer was descended from kings? Dani is true proof of that. A royal. A queen. A leader. #loveisland”.
Even a Hollywood A-lister has backed Dani to win the show.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, actress Margot Robbie claimed that she was dreading the end of the show, saying she had spent the summer devoted to it.
“We have dedicated our summer to watching those guys. We are going to miss them,” she said.
“Hopefully a lot of them stay couples in the real world and there is a happy ending for them all. But the winners have to be Jack and Dani.
“Jack and Dani have been together since day one and are the only couple who I can say I am totally sure will make it on the outside.”
