Curtis Pritchard was cruelly trolled on Instagram after he shared photos of him wearing make-up.
Curtis, 23, who came fourth in this year's Love Island and coupled up with Maura Higgins announced that he was going to be going back to his dancing roots and appearing on series two of BBC One's The Greatest Dancer.
As he prepared for his first show, he took to Instagram to document his experience.
Loving my time @greatestdancer can’t wait for you all to see the talent that this show brings.
"Loving my time @greatestdancer can’t wait for you all to see the talent that this show brings," he said.
And, thanking his brother, AJ, he said: "Thanks for the support Bro @aj11ace#family #dance"
But, even though male dancers wearing make-up is a common thing in the dance world, trolls bit back at Curtis, even questioning his sexuality.
"Why tf is he wearing a full face of makeup," one said.
Another cruelly said: "Looking like Maura with the makeup on."
"Why are you wearing mascara and full set of make up," a third asked, followed by a cry-laugh emoji.
The Ballroom and Latin dance champion has landed the role of hosting hopefuls as they arrive for their dance auditions on the BBC talent show.
Curtis, whose brother AJ is a pro dancer on Strictly, described his new job as a "dream come true".
Curtis, who is a pro dancer on Ireland's Dancing With The Stars, said: "To have left the Love Island villa just 10 days ago and to be so quickly given an opportunity to be a part of a show as amazing as The Greatest Dancer is a dream come true!"
He explained: "When I got the call I was so honoured to even be considered for this so the fact it's happening I can't quite believe! Dance is my passion and I can't wait to meet all the contestants in the new revamped reception area."
The Love Islander's new co-workers will include The Greatest Dancer judges Matthew Morrison, Cheryl Tweedy and Oti Mabuse.
