The brand new series is set to return next month with a string of brand new housemates and a brand new theme – The Eye of the Storm.

It’s rumoured the theme will surround controversy, with producers apparently casting housemates who have been involved in some sort of ‘controversy’ over the years.

There’s been several famous faces rumoured to be heading on the show – which is fronted Emma Willis – from soap stars and reality stars to TV presenters.

With speculation mounting, here’s who has been rumoured to be heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house…

Dan Osborne

Former TOWIE star Dan Osborne will reportedly take a break from daddy duties to star on the show.

According to The Sun, he’ll be joined by Love Island’s Gabby Allen, with whom he was accused of having a fling with earlier this year.

Gabby’s ex Marcel Somerville claimed she and Dan had slept together during a work trip to The Holistic Bootcamp in Marbella, Spain.

Both Gabby and Dan, 27, have vehemently denied the allegation.

The publication claimed Dan was spotted at Elstree Studios and insiders said he has signed a contract to take part on the show.

The star recently welcomed his second child, a daughter called Mia, with his estranged wife Jacqueline Jossa.

The show’s bosses are reportedly desperate to sign up former Blue Peter presenter John Leslie to the show, according to The Sun.

A source told the publication: “Producers for the show are particularly keen on signing John. They have tried previously but they are hopeful they can convince him to sign up.”

The insider claimed John has had “a couple of meetings” and the signs look “promising”.

Last month, John was cleared of sexual assault after being accused of sexually assaulting a women as they danced on her hen night in the Atik nightclub in Edinburgh last June.

The presenter was also best known for presenting ITV’s This Morning.

Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas is another famous face rumoured to be taking part in the show.

He quit the soap in 2016 in the hope of pursing new projects. So could Celebrity Big Brother be one of those?

Well, according to The Sun, Ryan was inspired to look at reality TV options after watching his brother Adam’s success on I’m A Celebrity and brother Scott’s time in Love Island.

A source claimed: “His brother Adam was on I’m A Celebrity and his other brother [Scott] was on Love Island, so he knows exactly how lucrative it can be to get a spot on one of those kind of shows.

“There’s talk of a £500,000 as an appearance fee.”

It wouldn’t be Ryan’s first foray into reality TV – he appeared on the second series of Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.

It’s been reported that Love Island star Gabby Allen has signed up to the show to dish the dirt on her cheating ex Marcel Somerville.

In May, Marcel admitted he had cheated on Gabby while they were on holiday together in Mexico.

But now Gabby will apparently tell all about her bitter split on the Channel 5 show.

A source told The Sun Online: “Gabby was devastated when she found out Marcel had cheated on her.

“She really thought he was the one and has been left heartbroken by what he did.

“Doing something like Celebrity Big Brother was never on her radar, but after their break up she wanted to do something challenging to help push her out of her comfort zone.”

Katie Price’s estranged husband Kieran Hayler is rumoured to heading on the show to spill the beans on his relationship with the reality TV star.

It’s safe to say, the former stripper would definitely have a lot to talk about in the house.

Earlier this year, Kieran split from Katie after five years of marriage. The pair share two children together.

Last month, Katie accused Kieran of cheating on her again, this time with a 19-year-old shop worker, after he previously bedded Katie’s best friend and reportedly had an affair with their kids’ nanny.

A source told The Sun in May: “Celebrity Big Brother execs plan on having a lot of fun when they select their housemates for this season’s show.

“They really want to create a buzz. Kieran would be an amazing signing.”

A source told The Sun in July that the 67-year-old – known for her roles in Star Trek and Cheers – has “plenty of juicy stories to tell”.

The insider added: “Kirstie is the biggest name to sign on the dotted line so far for this year’s show.”

In recent years, Kirstie has become more notorious for her ties to Scientology and her yo-yo dieting.

Porn star Stormy Daniels, who has been linked to Donald Trump, is reportedly going into the CBB house.

The star, real name Stephanie Clifford, claims she slept with the US president while he was married to wife Melania in 2006. Trump has denied Stormy’s allegations.

A source told The Sun: “Stormy is the biggest signing for this year’s show and she’ll make headlines around the world.

“Bosses were so keen to get her on board and it’s a fantastic opportunity for her.

“Stormy’s not afraid about talking about Donald more and what happened on the night she was with him.”

Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex’s estranged half-sister is reportedly in the line-up.

According to the Daily Star, a source said: “The theme for this summer’s CBB series is understood to be ‘scandal’ so Sam is ideal for this.”

Prior to Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry, her family was at the centre of controversy after her dad Thomas Markle posed for staged paparazzi photographs.

Samantha, who had been openly critical of Meghan and her relationship with Harry, admitted she had been the one to suggest her father co-operate with a photographer to show himself and the royal family in a positive light.

It’s safe to say, she would definitely have a lot to say in the CBB house!
