Ryan Thomas’ family have been celebrating his nephew Teddy’s fourth birthday while he’s cooped up in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
A message sent from Ryan’s official Instagram account said the former Coronation Street star would be “sad” to miss out on the celebrations.
Alongside a sweet picture of Ryan, 34,giving Teddy a kiss, a message read: “I know Ryan will be so sad he’s missing Teddy’s 4th b’day! But not long now! Happy b’ day super Ted love Uncle Ry Ry.”
Teddy is the eldest son of Ryan’s younger brother Adam, 30.

Proud dad Adam marked the occasion with a sweet message to Instagram reading: ” Love this kind hearted little boy like you wouldn’t believe! I’d be truly lost with out him can’t explain the joy he brings not just to mine and Caroline’s life but all our family and friends.
“Happy birthday my little boy, you’re the best son a father could ask for xx.”
Adam and his wife, dance teacher Caroline, are also parents to daughter Elsie, born in May.
Caroline revealed on Instagram that little Elsie had “bought” her big brother the best present of them all!
Alongside a photo of Teddy enjoying his swanky new gift, she wrote: “Safe to say Elsie’s present to her big brother topped it!! Happy birthday to our absolute everything!! 4 years ago today you changed our lives forever where on earth did that time go!!!
“You make every day brighter with your laugh and smile! The best son and brother we could ever ask for!! Love you our Teddybear!! Have the best day.”
The couple also shared Instagram Stories updates showing Teddy eagerly opening his presents.
Also sharing their birthday well-wishes was Adam’s twin brother Scott, who said: “Happy 4th b’day to my everything and so much more! One seriously special human being! Gutted I can’t see him today but tomorrow though.”
Ryan’s girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh also marked the occasion, sharing a cute pic of her holding Teddy to Instagram.
She wrote: “Happy 4th Birthday Teddy Thomas!! Isn’t he the cutest little boy in the world!?! I can’t wait to give him a big squeeze & spoil him next week 🎉❤️ The Thomas genes are just tooooo much.”

The whole Thomas family will be reunited next week as Celebrity Big Brother ends on Monday night.

Ryan is one of six housemates through to the final.
He’ll go up against Dan Osborne, Gabby Allen, Psychic Sally, Kirstie Alley and Nick Leeson.
