A spokesperson for Roxanne Pallett has shed some light on her decision to quit Celebrity Big Brother following a high-octane few days in the house.
Their statement said: “Roxanne decided to leave the CBB house late last night after deliberating for two days with some sensitive issues she felt strongly about.
“She has now been reunited with her fiancé and family and thanks everyone for their support during her time in the show.”
Earlier this morning a CBB rep confirmed that she had chosen not to continue with the reality series.
“Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House,” they said. “The remaining housemates have been informed.”
Meanwhile, Roxanne’s ally in the house, Ben Jardine, was given his marching orders in Friday night’s eviction show.
During his exit interview with host Emma Willis, he admitted to feeling “played” after seeing footage of the ‘punch’ which had caused such controversy earlier this week.
Ryan was given a formal warning during Thursday’s episode of the reality TV show after ex-Emmerdale star Roxanne alleged he punched her.
The 34-year-old denied punching her, saying “there was no malice or anger in anything I did”.

Media regulator Ofcom received 11,215 complaints following the episode.
Ben was evicted from the house on Friday after he was voted out by his fellow contestants.
Following his exit, host Emma Willis asked him how he felt after Roxanne told him about the situation with Ryan.
Ben replied: “I trust Roxy and trust what she was saying. When she said that, I was like, ‘Woah’.”
Ben was then shown footage of the incident involving Ryan and Roxanne and asked to give his opinion.
He said: “It breaks my heart. Now I feel like I’ve been mugged right off. I always fall for it, don’t I? That’s not what I got told.”
When he was asked further about how he feels about Roxanne, Ben said: “All I’ll say is she’s a lovely girl, she does what she does.
“I do feel a little bit of a mug sat here right now. She was a comfort blanket for me.
“I think she’s a lovely girl, that’s all I can say. I do feel a bit upset, played.”
In a clip that was filmed in the house earlier on Friday, Ryan and Roxanne spoke about the incident.

Ryan told Roxanne: “I want you to know from the bottom of my heart I was showing my affection.
“Maybe it came across the wrong way. I promise you, you’ve got it wrong and I apologise if it has come across that way.”
Roxanne said: “I’m not questioning your integrity. I just felt shocked and it threw me.”
The pair agreed to sort out their differences and shook hands.
Earlier this morning it was announced that Roxanne had left the show. A CBB spokesperson confirmed: “Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House. The remaining housemates have been informed.”
