Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and Victoria Beckham are just some of the celebrities who are paying tribute to the victims of 9/11 on the 15th anniversary of the tragedy.
A variety of stars took to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to remember the nearly 3,000 people who died on that day in 2001.
Sharing a photo of the New York City skyline, Kim wrote: “Life is so precious & I pray for everyone who was affected by this awful tragedy. #NeverForget911.”
Her mum, Kris Jenner posted the same photo, which has the word “reflect” pictured in the sky.
She wrote: “15 years ago today. Our thoughts will forever be with the families of those who lost their lives that tragic day.”
And Kourtney Kardashian tweeted: “I will #neverforget this day 15 years ago. Reflecting on the absence but also remembering the strength and courage.”
Victoria Beckham, who is in New York to show her Spring 2017 fashion collection, posted a video of an American flag swaying in the breeze.
She wrote on September 10: “As a designer showing on tomorrow’s important anniversary, I commemorate the victims of the September 11 attacks.”
Supermodel Iman posted a photo on Facebook, which was taken from her apartment. It shows the two beams of lights that are shone at the site of the attack in place of the Twin Towers.
She wrote: “My NYC Skyline tonight out of my window at 12:01am Sept 11th, 2016 #MYNYC #Sept11th #NYCForever.”
New Yorker Lady Gaga tweeted: “God bless all the men and women who died in the attacks or fight to save lives during the Sept. 11 attacks. #WeWillNeverForget #NewYorker.”
Ellen DeGeneres tweeted simply: “New York, I love you.”
Other celebrities who took to social media to remember the day include Ryan Seacrest, Andy Cohen, Snooki, LL Cool J, Hugh Jackman, Ivanka Trump, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her former political rival Bernie Sanders.
Former CNN host Piers Morgan tweeted a picture of the front page of The Mirror, which he edited at the time of the attack.
