Bella Hadid and The Weeknd split due to busy schedules

The singer must be kicking himself!

Bella Hadid and her boyfriend R&B star The Weeknd have split up after 18 months.

The couple, who kept a rather low profile, reportedly split up in December last year but ended up getting back together.

It has now been said that their busy schedules caused them to break up for good.

Make time for each other, we want these two together forever!

A source close to the Can’t Feel My Face hitmaker, real name, Abel Tesfaye, said that it was a mutual descision and the pair still want to stay friends.

They said: “They still have a great deal of love and respect for each other and will remain friends, but it has been too hard to coordinate their schedules with him finishing and promoting his upcoming album,” an insider said.

“They really tried to make it work.”

Bella recently received news that she will be hitting the runway for this year’s Victoria Secret show in Paris, and Abel will be performing!

The couple met because Abel had seen her around and was pretty desperate to work with her in some way.

Tesfaye told The Rolling Stones: “I actually asked her to be on the artwork for Beauty Behind the Madness.

“My motive was literally to work with her, but when she declined, “I was like, ‘All right, cool — we can meet up face-to-face.'”

Abel loved the fact that she was so hardworking and how close she was to her family.

“It just kind of fell into my lap,” he says. “If this had happened two years ago — well,” he catches himself, “she couldn’t.” (Two years ago, Hadid would have been 16.)

“But if I’d met someone two years ago, I probably would’ve fucked it up. But I’m more — how do I say it? — clear-thinking now.”

Back in September, Bella spoke so highly of him.

“I’m dating Abel. I don’t see him as The Weeknd. I’m proud of The Weeknd and the music he makes, but I really love Abel.”

Aw, please can you two just get back together?
