Mark Feehily has welcomed his first child with fiancé Cailean O’Neill.
The Westlife singer announced the happy news on Instagram on Thursday by sharing a sweet picture of himself and Cailean pushing their baby daughter through a hospital corridor.
Mark, 39, revealed he and Cailean have named their little girl, Layla.

Mark captioned the image: “Baby Layla born safe & sound @ 7.27pm on October 1st 2019!”
He added: “We’re the happiest Dads in the world!”
Fans congratulated the couple on the arrival of their new bundle of joy.
One person said: “Congrats Mark on your first born!!”
Another wrote: “Congratulations darlings, welcome to the world baby Layla,” while a third added: “Congratulations to the both of you. So happy for you!”
Back in May, the singer revealed that he and Cailean were expecting a baby.
At the time, he shared the happy news on social media and gushed over his “most special birthday ever”.
He wrote on Twitter: “Thanks for all the Birthday wishes everyone! It makes this my most special birthday EVER to let everyone know that later this year we will become Dads for the first time.
“This is the proudest moment of our lives and we are beyond excited to say it out loud! M&Cx.”

In July, Mark and Cailean then revealed they were expecting a girl.
During a Westlife concert in Croke Park in Dublin, Mark said that he couldn’t wait to raise his little girl “in this wonderful country”.
Earlier this year, the couple announced they were engaged.
Mark shared a photo of his hand with a silver wedding band on next to two glasses of Prosecco as the couple enjoyed a holiday in the Maldives.
The star also shared a video of their tropic getaway and another image showing the couple walking along the beach.

He wrote: “2019 has been so amazing to me so far and it’s only getting started! I wanted to be the first to say it… #engaged.”
