Wes Nelson has insisted he doesn't fancy his Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer following his split from ex-girlfriend Megan Barton Hanson.
Wes and Megan split last month, revealing at the time that they have been working hard at their relationship "for well under a year".
Love Island star Wes has now opened up about their split and addressed whether there's a spark between him and pro skater Vanessa, 22.
Speaking to The Sun, Wes said: "There is no chemistry with Vanessa, everyone here knows that, but on the ice there has to be some kind of bond in terms of your dancing, not off the ice.
"Vanessa is happy and Megan is happy there is nothing going on."
Wes also said he understands why Megan, 24, was upset about his long training hours with Vanessa, but hinted their drama distracted him from his performances.
He added: "No woman would enjoy their partner training with another woman for an extended period of time. Obviously it wasn't easy. It affected our training and it threw my routine off a bit. Maybe the pressure got to me."
Wes also told OK! Magazine that he didn't think Vanessa as his "cup of tea".
He said: "People have said, 'Why don’t you get with Vanessa?' I see it in my comments all the time, but for one has anyone ever asked me if I fancy her? No I don’t. Vanessa is not my cup of tea."
He added that he still loves Megan, however, hinted they weren't right for each other.
Wes said: "Of course I still love Megan. You can’t just drop the feelings after a week of being split up, but loving someone doesn’t mean that they are the right person for you."
Vanessa is happy and Megan is happy there is nothing going on.

It comes after Megan lashed out at Vanessa and accused her of timing her break-up with Louis Nathaniel for publicity and not making the effort to introduce herself to her.
She wrote on Instagram last month: "@Vanessabauer_skates love that you decide to announce your breakup with your boyfriend on the night of your 1st performance with my boyfriend!
"You've never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night, you didn't even look me in the eye LOL. Hope the tactical breakup got you the headlines you wanted babe. @wesnelson (sic)."
A few days after, Megan appeared on Loose Women and revealed she had reached out to Vanessa to clear the air.
Meanwhile, Vanessa told The Sun last week that Megan would be "welcome to any of our training sessions" but she "never got the chance" to meet her.
Vanessa added that she's just "doing my job" and she's happy about that.
