Wayne Rooney ‘party girl’ Laura Simpson posts tweet hinting she wants money

This isn't the first time she's posted something cryptic

| Updated:

Laura Simpson, the ‘party girl’ who enjoyed a booze-fuelled night out with Wayne Rooney back in September, has taken to Twitter to share a suggestive tweet which seems to hint that she’s only in it for the money.

She tweeted: “If the outcome ain’t income… LOG. ME. OFF”

Although it isn’t exactly clear what Laura is trying to get at, it seems to hint towards the fact that she is keen for some cash. Well… at least she’s being honest, right?

The brunette was linked to Wayne when he was pulled over by police in Cheshire on September 1st after enjoying a night out, while driving a car belonging to office worker Laura, who was in the passenger seat.

The footballer pleaded guilty to a drink-driving charge and was handed a two-year driving ban and 100 hours of unpaid community service.

This isn’t the first time Laura has posted something cryptic on social media. She previously posted a selfie on her Instagram account, which has now been set to private, referring to the night the incident happened, captioning the image: “Throw back to the night I wish I stayed in”

Although exact details of what happened on the night are unclear, an insider told The Sun on Sunday at the time: “Wayne has pleaded his innocence of doing anything with Laura and told Coleen he will do anything to keep the family together.

“He has told her that she and the kids are his world.”

Wayne’s pregnant wife Coleen, 31, had been on holiday at the time.

Laura’s newest tweet has come after we recently reported that Coleen might have finally forgiven Wayne.

After a story emerged that Coleen had reverted back to her maiden name, after being spotted lounging on a Barbados beach next to a designer handbag monogrammed with the initials CM, Coleen quickly took to her own Twitter account to set the record straight.

She tweeted: “Stories, stories, stories. My mum’s initials are CM ….. not my bag!!!”

The fact that Coleen replied and clarified she’s still Mrs Rooney could be an indicator she’s not giving up on marriage just yet.

The couple, who are parents to sons Kai, seven, Klay, four, and Kit, one, are expecting their new baby next year.
