Wayne Rooney hints all is forgiven as he shares pic from family home

Is it happy families again?

It appears that Coleen Rooney may well and truly have forgiven errant husband Wayne, as the footballer posted a snap from his son’s birthday, showing the two of them happily in the family home.

There has been rampant speculation over the state of Wayne and Coleen’s marriage, after Wayne was arrested for drink-driving in so-called party girl Laura Simpson’s car.

Coleen was notably absent from court proceedings, as Wayne faced charges, and the pair have not been seen together since.

Wayne was forced to celebrate his own birthday alone – while the family jetted off on holiday, he was forced to stay in the UK to complete his community service.

Coleen has been photographed without her wedding ring, increasing the speculation that the relationship was on the rocks.

But now the father of three has shared a sweet photo to twitter, to celebrate the couple’s eldest son, Kai’s, birthday.

The photo shows the father and son surrounded by balloons, with presents in the background.

The image was captioned “Happy 8th Birthday Kai. Enjoy your special day son 👨‍👦💙🎈”

This comes days after Coleen shared an intimate family photo of herself and the three boys in bed, all wearing matching pyjamas.

The photo led to speculation that Wayne was forgiven and back at home with his family, and was the one to take the photo.

This speculation seems to have been confirmed by a family friend, who told The Sun the family is getting back to normal.

“Coleen wants to move on and forget any of it ever happened,” the source said. “She’s happy to have everyone back home together and they’re looking forward to celebrating Christmas as a family.”

The family are set to grow by one next year – Coleen is currently pregnant with her fourth child.
