Wayne Rooney could be on course for another showdown with wife Coleen following a newspaper claims he was spotted chatting to a barmaid during a reported marathon drinking session.
According to a source at The Sun, the ex England footballer partied with his DC United teammates for 10 hours last weekend before jumping into Vicki Rosiek’s car alone.

The 33-year-old striker – who married Coleen Rooney in 2008 – apparently had a “cosy” chat and did shots with the 32-year-old until 2.30am, the news outlet claims.
It is alleged she then drove them to a bar serving ‘Pink Pussy’ cocktails where they knocked back shots and Rooney apparently had trouble communicating with a DJ who couldn’t understand his accent.
An anonymous source commented: “Coleen has already warned him about his behaviour and will hit the roof over this. He is playing with fire getting into a woman’s car alone with his history.”

The unnamed insider is also reported to have said: “One minute he’s on a pub crawl with male friends, then suddenly he’s moving between other bars with a pretty blonde. At the very least it will worry Coleen to see Wayne drinking and acting this way while away from family.”
ED! has contacted Wayne and Coleen’s reps for comment.
Fans were divided over the story with many defending the former Manchester United star.
One wrote on Twitter: “He had a drink in a bar! Even the women said nowt happened! Non-story!”
Another said: “As much as I don’t like Rooney, he’s done nothing wrong here.”
A third tweeted: “Leave the man alone, just a drink.”
Some condemned his behaviour, though, with one commenting on Instagram: “Chatting to a barmaid and getting in her car alone 👀👀.”
A second tweeted: “Wayne Rooney has got to be the biggest prat, Colleen should just get rid.”
Another added: “Feel sorry for @ColeenRoo if this is true.”
One more claimed: “He has it all yet he’s hell bent on destroying himself and his beautiful family, what a foolish man.”
The couple – who have been together since they were teens and share four children – have endured several rocky headlines over the years.
Just last month, Wayne was arrested in Dulles airport in Virginia for public intoxication after a flight from Saudi Arabia in December.
Coleen was reportedly said to be so fed up with his antics that she banned him from leaving their home “without supervision”.
A source told Heat Magazine: “She told him he wasn’t to go out of the house again without supervision. Coleen was really [expletive] off with Wayne for getting into trouble again.
“She was mortified when she got the call and wanted him straight home. She called him an idiot for doing something so stupid.”
He was also arrested in 2017 for being drunk at the wheel of a woman named Laura Simpson’s car.
It was only last week Coleen shared a montage of family pics to celebrate their son’s birthday.
Next to the images on Instagram, she wrote: “Happy 3rd Birthday Kit Rooney. We absolutely love you to bits! Such a character and thanks for making us laugh every day! 😘❤️”.
