Strictly Come Dancing pro Neil Jones was lucky to escape injury after his wife Katya nutted him during rehearsals yesterday.
The 35-year-old dancer and choreographer was left clutching his face following the nasty-looking knock which happened when Katya spun round and leaned back into her man’s arms.
But it seems Katya thrust backwards with a little too much momentum – and was left slumped on the floor herself as Neil automatically turned away following the impact, failing to support her as the dance sequence continued.
The clash of heads happened at Strictly’s HQ studios in Elstree, Hertfordshire and was captured by a camera taping the rehearsals.

Luckily, both dancers seemed to avoid being significantly hurt – thanks to Katya’s quick thinking.
Uploading a clip of the accidental headbutt to Twitter and Instagram, Neil reassured followers he would be fine and had not suffered a damaged conk.
“I’m asked all the time if we ever get hurt during rehearsals,” he wrote.
“Here is your answer but don’t worry – I’m ok, nothing was broken and Katya put ice on straight away.”

Fair enough Neil, you nose best.
“Oooooccccchhhhh bet that brought tears to your eyes,” commented one fan.
“Made my eyes water just watching,” added another.
And a third remarked: “The shock of it is the worst thing but you definitely felt that.
“Hope you’re ok and I’m not surprised you dropped Katya, ouch.”

Neil and Katya’s marriage came under scrutiny earlier in the series after it emerged she had snogged celeb dance partner Sean Walsh during a night out.
Calling the kiss a “mistake”, she insisted: “I love my husband and we are very happy together, this is not a reflection on our relationship.”
However, while the Strictly ‘curse’ scandal has thrust the couple into the limelight, both stars are reportedly concerned it may lead to the end of their time on the show.
An unnamed TV insider is said to have told The Sun: “Katya and Neil are worried bosses feel her dalliance with Seann has left a black mark that can’t be removed against their names.”
