Warwick Davis shares beautiful tribute to his wife on their wedding anniversary

What a sweetie he is!

Warwick Davis and his wife Sammy have been married for an incredible 28 years – and to mark the happy occasion, the actor has posted a touching message to her on Twitter.

The TV and film star, 49 – who appeared in the Ricky Gervais sitcom Life’s Too Short, plus several Star Wars and Harry Potter films – accompanied the gushing tribute with a romantic snap of the couple together.

And it clearly pulled on his followers’ heartstrings, as his inbox was soon being inundated with congratulatory comments.

Warwick wrote to his wife, who’s also an actress: “Happy 28th Wedding Anniversary to my bestest friend & soulmate, @SammyDDavis.

“Thank you for the fun, happiness & adventure, the warmth & love.

“My life is perfect with you & I cherish every moment. Thank you for all you do for me & the support you give.

“Love always & forever.”

Fans of the star wasted no time in offering their warmest wishes. One wrote: “Congratulations and well done to you both. That’s quiet an achievement. Have a great day.”

Another said: “Happy Anniversary! Wishing you many many more.”

And a third added: “Aaaaa! What a lovely thing to say – and in front of the world as well.”

Warwick has a form of dwarfism called spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita (SED), while Sammy, 48, has a different type called achondroplasia.

The couple’s two children – Annabelle, 22, and Harrison, 16 – also have SED.

Like her mum and dad, Annabelle is an actress – best-known for playing Sasha Bellman in CBBC show The Dumping Ground.

Warwick and Sammy first met while filming the 1988 film Willow. Warwick was one of the stars of the movie while Sammy was an extra.

Judging by his latest tweet, though, she’s very much the star of his life these days.
