Vinnie Jones has opened up for the first time about the tragic death of his wife, Tanya.
The former footballer and movie hardman, 54, lost mum-of-two Tanya in July after a six-year battle with cancer.

The Snatch star took to Twitter to thank fans for their support, saying that they have helped his family with the “heavy grief”.
In his tweet, which also showed a picture of Tanya and him cuddling for the camera, he said: “THANK YOU to each and every one of you for your kind thoughts and kind words through this devastating time.
“You have all helped us enormously with this heavy grief, Vinnie.”
Many of his 111,600 followers took to the social media site to express their sympathy and support.
“I can’t imagine what you’re going through,” one said. “You’ve handled yourself with grace and class. My condolences. #MOT #ALAW.”
Another wrote: “In life we often think we have endless amounts of time with those we love, but we don’t. Cherish the time you have given each other and God bless you all. Allow yourself the space to grieve.”
“Losing someone you love is so tough, knowing you loved them unconditionally and gave them everything you had doesn’t ease the pain but helps you get through it. We love you Vinnie, stay strong for yourself and the family,” a third said.

Tanya passed away aged 53 on July 6 after a long battle with cancer, with a statement sent to The Sun revealing she died “peacefully” at the family home surrounded by Vinnie, their daughter Kaley and other members of the family.
It read: “At 8.46am local time in Los Angeles on Saturday July 6, Vinnie Jones’ wife, Tanya Jones, passed away after a long illness.
“Tanya passed peacefully at the Jones’ family home surrounded by Vinnie, their daughter and other family members.”
A source said her condition had worsened over the past few weeks.
Showbiz reporter Ross King said Tanya’s funeral had been a “beautiful service”.
