Viewers stunned as This Morning favourite unveils ‘amazing’ hidden talent

More of this, please!

This Morning viewers are used to seeing Dr Ranj dishing out medical advice from inside the studio.

But on Friday’s show – the final programme of the year – the medic swapped his usual smart suit for a Christmas jumper as he joined his choir for an outdoor performance.

Dr Ranj and the Adam Street Singers performed live from the South Bank throughout the show, and closed the entire programme with a rendition of Merry Christmas Everyone.

He even got a solo, revealing a pretty amazing vocal!

And fans were suitably impressed with the doc’s hidden talent!

One tweeted: “Didn’t know Dr Ranj could sing!!! Amazing performance!”

Another said: “OMG Dr Ranj has an amazing voice. U need to sing more.”

A third added: “Dr Ranj is actually a great singer!”

And a fourth remarked: “Love Dr Ranj and his choir!”

Today marked the final This Morning before Christmas, with Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes taking the reigns.

It also marked Rylan Clark-Neal’s last show before he takes a break from the showbiz slot.

Rylan, Ruth and Eamonn all gathered outside to watch Dr Ranj and the choir performing in the closing minutes of the broadcast.

Confirming he would indeed return in the New Year, Rylan quipped: “I’m like an STD. I’ll always come back!”

Cue shocked looks from Ruth and Eamonn!

The presenter has announced he’s taking some time away from the daytime show in the New Year – and naturally his on-screen “mum and dad” wanted to give him a good send off.

Eamonn kicked off This Morning by joking: “It really is happy today as Rylan is leaving!”

Wife Ruth told him off – but couldn’t resist a joke of her own!

“He’s not leaving,” she said. “He’s just going off on a little break. We would never let him leave. How would we light the studio without his teeth?”

Cheeky!
