Holby City and Coronation Street star John Michie yesterday confirmed the devastating news that his 25-year-old daughter had been found dead at the Bestival festival campsite.
Shortly after the tragic news was confirmed, John posted a tribute photo of her bedroom, including her treasured items such as a white electric guitar.
Since then, viewers of Holby City have posted countless messages of condolence on social media, wishing the family their deepest sympathy for the loss.
In the comments, one fan wrote: “My thoughts are with you and your family at this very hard time. Grief is the price we pay for love but the memories will always be a gift.”
Another fan said: “No words. Just heartbreaking. Thinking of you and your family.”
Over on Twitter, fans were also shocked and saddened by the tragic news.
“Wow. Just seen that John Michie’s daughter has died at Bestival. Beautiful girl with a lot to look forward to in life, taken so suddenly,” wrote one user.
Scottish Labour Party politician Margaret Curran wrote, ‘Our hearts bleed for @theJohnMichie and his well beloved family […] Our deepest condolences.’
John Michie’s Holby City co-star Chizzy Akudolu, who is a contestant on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, also tweeted a heartbroken tribute to her “good mate”.
She wrote: “A good mate just lost his daughter. I can’t imagine what he and his family are going through. Life man. Tell someone you love them. Do it now.”
Louella was found dead in the woods at Bestival in the early hours of the morning on Monday September 11.
Her parents drove to the Dorset campsite after receiving a worried call and a Whatsapp map from a friend of Louella’s.
She is mourned by her parents, John and Carol, sister Daisy, 27, and brother Sam, 26.
