This Morning viewers fed up with Ruth Langsford after today’s show

It's getting a bit much now

In case we’ve been in hibernation for weeks and didn’t know, Strictly Come Dancing starts this weekend.

And one contestant who is keen not to let us forget that she’s taking part in the all-dancing extravaganza is Ruth Langsford.

The presenter has been talking about it ever since she was announced as one of the famous faces in this year’s line up, and fans are getting more than a little bit fed up with it constantly being mentioned.

Alongside her husband Eamonn Holmes, Ruth took over the reins of Friday’s This Morning as per usual, and it was only a matter of seconds before she dropped Strictly into discussion.

Viewers were quick to tweet how they were sick of hearing about it.

The eye roll emojis say it all, really.

Ruth posted a snap to Instagram earlier today to show how the This Morning team are supporting her bid to lift the glitterball trophy.

They had decorated her dressing room with balloons and a ‘good luck’ banner.

She captioned the pic: “Thank you Thank you @davidobrien75 @rachaeleleri87 for “pimping” my dressing room! Love you two.”

Thankfully her followers were much more supportive sending her good luck messages in their droves.

“How lovely Ruthee ❤️ Good luck xx we’re all rooting for you,” said one.

Another added: “Good luck Ruth cannot wait to see you dance.”

“You have so much support everyone is behind you Ruth good luck,” said a third.

The star is super-excited to be taking part in the glittery contest. She’s partnered with show stalwart Anton Du Beke, and he’s working her hard, but it seems to be paying off.

Posting a video update to her Instagram, Ruth could be seen chatting to Anton after training was over and he told her: “I’m very, very happy.”

He also told her she’d done “wonderfully” and she was “good”.

Ruth will take to the floor for the first time on Saturday night and her fans will be keeping everything crossed she wows the judges
