She may be a world famous fashion designer today but Victoria Beckham has revealed she wasn’t always so stylish!
The mum-of-four amused her Instagram followers by sharing a throwback snap of herself as a child wearing a clown fancy dress costume.
The former Spice Girl can be seen as a little girl in the blue and red outfit with a white ruff collar and a matching pom-pom decorated pointy hat.
Victoria, 44, posted the snap to celebrate the birthday of her mum, Jackie, and joked she needed to talk to her about why she’d decided to dress up.
A young Victoria is held by her mum in the picture, while her dad holds her baby sister, Louise.
Victoria wrote beside the family photo: “Happy birthday @jackie.adams_ When going through the family pics I found that one of us was often in some sort of ‘costume’🤔 lots to discuss!”

She then formally signed off the message to her mum using her initials: “X kisses in your birthday! X VB”
Victoria’s fans were delighted to get a glimpse into her childhood via the picture, which gained more than 71,000 likes.
“Super throwback,” wrote one.
“This is the best, thanks for sharing,” said another.
“That is some hat,” said a third.
A fourth told her: “I had that clown outfit @victoriabeckham. I loved it!”

Others remarked on the family resemblance between Victoria and her mum.
“You are the image of your lovely mum. You are like twins,” said one.
“Wow, you look so much like your beautiful mum,” agreed another.
Others thought it was clear from the pic that Victoria got her fashion sense from her mum, admiring her flared trousers, red top and silk scarf.
“Your mum’s outfit could be part of any collection now,” one told her.
The fashion designer also shared a photo of her and her mum today, where Victoria’s in the smart attire we’re used to seeing her wear.
Victoria is now all grown-up and a mum herself to Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
This week, her husband David paid tribute to her and their daughter to mark International Women’s Day.
“I’m so blessed to have these amazing women in my life, they inspire me every single day,” he wrote.
