Victoria Beckham Pays Tribute to Karl Lagerfeld’s Legacy on Instagram

Victoria Beckham shared an emotional tribute to the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld on Instagram.

The former Spice Girl and fashion icon, 45, was due to attend a memorial to the star in Paris on Thursday (June 20).

And, as she was preparing for the evening, Vic left a heartfelt message.

Next to a photo of a young Karl and two models, Victoria wrote:

“Thinking of Karl today and the memorial in honour of his life and legacy at the #GrandPalaisin Paris this evening. He was always so generous to me and is so missed. @chanelofficial @karllagerfeld @fendi#KarlForever x vb”

Some of Victoria’s 25.6million followers shared their own tributes to the designer, who died in February this year.

“All his pieces are so beautiful, he left, but he left his pieces, for those who do not have many conditions to buy, I love his authentic style #Karlforever,” wrote one.

Another commented, “Some of the most amazing designs.”

A third said: “Karl Lagerfield has left his legendary mark in the fashion world. We will miss his iconic designs.”

The German designer was best known for reviving legendary fashion house, Chanel.

When Karl passed away in February, Victoria took to the social media site to express her sadness.

“So incredibly sad to hear this,” she wrote.

“Karl was a genius and always so kind and generous to me both personally and professionally. RIP x vb”

The cream of the European celebrity world and royalty attended the private service in Paris, including Princess Caroline of Hanover, Gigi Hadid, Claudia Schiffer and Lewis Hamilton.
