Vicky Pattison lands new TV gig following Blind Date disappointment

The I'm A Celeb Queen is going to help contestants transform their bodies

Vicky Pattison impressed fans when she overhauled her diet and lifestyle – and now she’s set to help others do the same.

The I’m a Celebrity… winner is set to host an MTV series about body transformations.

“The show will see Vicky guide members of the public through weight struggles,” a source told The Sun.

“The format will be similar to Khloe Kardashian’s  Revenge Body,” they added. “Vicky is over the moon to be fronting the show.”

The new gig has been a boost for Vicky who was dropped as host of the revamped Blind Date. “It appeals to her target audience of young people, unlike Channel 5’s Blind Date, which is pitching at an older crowd,” added the source.

Vicky is well qualified to give weight-loss advice – she lost a staggering three stone in five months, going from a size 16 to a size six.  She had gained weight after a partying too hard when she appeared on Geordie Shore.

The TV host is the first to admit that her weight has fluctuated since then, however, and it’s not easy to lose the pounds.

“Losing weight and maintaining your size isn’t easy,” she says. “A boyfriend, a social life and still be a size eight? That’s bloody tough and I fell off the wagon.”

Vicky says that when her career took off after being crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2015, it meant she devoted less time to fitness.

“There were so many jobs I couldn’t say no to and my training fell my the wayside,” she says. “My body wasn’t what I wanted it to be like, clothes didn’t fit.

“It looked like I was living the dream on Instagram, going to different countries but I was unhappy.

“I can understand how girls like Lauren [Goodger] yo-yo and fall off the wagon – I did too.”
