TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson has opened up about the impact her eldest daughter’s heart condition had on their relationship in an emotional Instagram post.
The former Gladiators host, 52, gushed over her daughter Bo as she shared a sweet birthday message for the “kind and loyal” but “pain in the [bleep]” teenager, who turned 19 on Saturday (09.11.19).

Proud mum Ulrika shared a string of photos of the two of them and told fans that her love for Bo, who has a congenital heart condition, is “immeasurable”.
She wrote in the caption: “Bo Eva Coeur. Happy 19th Birthday, my darling girl! It has to be said, you can be a royal pain in the [bleep] but the love I have for you is immeasurable.”

Writing further, Ulrika described how Bo’s heart condition “defined [their relationship” and helped them “bond”.
She continued: “I know I go on about your congenital heart condition and while it doesn’t define you, it has defined our relationship. It has bonded us beyond expectation because I never knew how long you’d live and you stuck to me like glue because for some time it was just you and me.
“As a child it was clear you loved other children and especially babies, and if I gave you £1 to spend at the shop, you would spend it on someone else.
You’re kind and loyal – a little emotionally constipated – but you have the best laugh in the world.”
The ex Shooting Stars panellist added: “You are loved, darling daughter, sister, cousin, granddaughter, friend. And nutter. See you later!”

Ulrika has four children – son Cameron, 25, from her marriage with cameraman John Turnbull; Bo, from her relationship with German hotel manager Marcus Kempen; Martha, 15, whose father is Ulrika’s second husband Lance Gerrard-Wright; and Malcolm, 11.
Ulrika’s youngest is from her marriage with husband number three Brian Monet, with whom she split earlier this year.
